HEC Recognized Universities Ranking List Download With New Method
HEC Banned Universities The Higher Education Commission Pakistan (HEC ) has imposed a complete ban on new affiliations to colleges and new institutes by the university, including affiliation to various programs, with the aim of ensuring the quality of education.
It has been announced in the Recent Meeting of HEC that from now until the new HEC policy is announced, no university or institute will issue any affiliation to any new institute college.

This decision has come as part of the ongoing review of HEC’s ethics policy and standards, which aims to enhance quality and curb malpractices in higher education in Pakistan.
A lot of concern has been expressed in this meeting that there is a lack of adequate infrastructure for affiliating colleges and institutes of the existing public sector universities. These colleges and universities have issued affiliations to various colleges and university sub-campuses. This is the reason for not meeting the faculty and support facilities despite the clear instructions issued by HEC.

HEC Stop affiliation all Over Pakistan
As we all know, all the public sector HEIs have full authority to grant affiliation but according to HEC now any college or institution will be immediately stopped from granting new affiliation to any new program. No institution or college will be affiliated under any circumstances until HEC issues the revised criteria. Therefore, all institutions and colleges concerned are directed to suspend affiliation with any new college or institution immediately.
Colleges and Institutions are permitted to extend affiliation to already affiliated programs provided that the individual is a permanent member of the Affiliation Committee for renewal to extend the affiliation of his institution or college.
Further, Public Sector HEC has announced to withdraw all its advertisements published on print media and social media and not to release any advertisement for new affiliations until HEC announces its new policy.
Risk of Degree Cancellation By HEC
A further announcement has been issued by HEC that if any institution is affiliated at this time. Failure to comply with the instructions will result in non-recognition and non-verification of the degrees issued by HEC. Appropriate action will be taken against the degrees as per HEC’s standard screening procedure. All students are advised that if they are admitted to any affiliated university, they should first visit the HEC website to check that HEC recognizes the institution.
